UPCO was founded by Fred Ungemach in 1937 in Roseville, Ohio. They were in business until 1984. When he first began the business he called it South Fork Pottery, but in 1942 he changed it's name to "Ungemach Pottery Company". The design aesthetics were Art Deco, streamlined and futuristic. Fred Ungemach (1900-1984) had worked for the Nelson McCoy Pottery as a boy and later for Ransbottom Pottery (RRP Co) where he learnt both the business and design side of making art pottery.

Plants not included. If you are located in New York City and are interested in purchasing the planter with the potted plant please contact me.
