Vintage hammered copper three-footed dish

Hammered copper dish with three wooden feet, likely made during the Arts & Crafts movement of the early 20th Century in the USA.

Slightly boomerang shaped from the top view, this dish curves gently upwards at the outside edges. It has a lovely hammered surface, the top side has been painted with some kind of tint to darken the colour of the copper. The underside is unpainted and shows the bright copper colour. The age of the piece has resulted in a lovely patina. The underside also has some brushstrokes of the tint, especially around the edge. The three wooden feet are conically shaped. There is an unidentified marking on the base - NTR.

Condition:
In lovely vintage condition. The dish has developed a patina and some irregularities and markings through its life. Rather than detract, these marks add to the charm and character of the piece.

approx 4.5cm tall x 26cm wide x 14.5cm deep = approx 2.75" x 10.25" x 5.75"
Wooden feet are 2.9cm tall.
