Authentic antique wooden bowl, likely made in the USA circa 1900s.
Carved from hardwood, this is a beautifully preserved medium bowl. It has been used for years to churn butter, make dough or serve salad (markings inside bowl reflect these traditions - see photos). It is a deeper bowl than most of this age. The bottom is signed but hard to distinguish the name of the maker. It's a lovely example of rustic farmhouse decor which would make a stunning fruit bowl or centrepiece.
Condition:
The bowl was turned from a solid piece of wood. It is in excellent condition with no cracks - rare for an antique wooden bowl. The wood has developed a lovely patina with a stunning depth of colour from years of use. Many stains and markings, particularly noticeable on the light coloured outer wood. Deep signs of age and wear make this is a unique rustic piece.

9cm tall x 26.7cm deep x 24.5cm wide = approx 3.25" x 10.5" x 9.75"
