Mid century vintage Covina Pottery square ceramic planter, made in Covina, California in the 1950s.

High gloss speckled pink and brown retro glaze with smooth texture. This is a great example of mid-century Californian pottery. Covina Pottery impressed marking on bottom, as well as style no. 80.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition, very slight wear on bottom. No chips, crazing or damage.

Measurements:
6.7cm tall x 13.8cm wide and deep = 2.75" x 5.5"

The Covina Pottery Company existed from approximately 1943-1988 in Covina, California. It was founded by the Rhodus family. The company specialised in the production of floral ware in speckled glazes with geometric and atomic mid century modern shapes.
