Gunnar Cyrén for Dansk glass decanter with teak stopper, likely made circa 1970s but unmarked besides the stopper.

Lovely modernist clear glass form with wooden stopper - imprinted with 'Dansk International Designs Ltd Malaysia', likely the source of the teak.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. Slight wear on base consistent with age.

Gunnar Cyrén (1931-2013) was a renowned designer, both in his home country Sweden as well as internationally. In 1959 Cyrén started working at Orrefors glass factory where he created many well-known glass series during the years. He also worked for Dansk Designs.

Dansk Designs (also known as Dansk International Designs starting in 1974) was an American distributor and retailer of cookware, tableware, and other home accessories based in Mount Kisco, New York. As of 2011, the brand is called Dansk and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lenox Corporation with headquarters located in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
