Vintage footed filigree glass bowl produced by F&M Ballarin di Murano, in Murano, Italy circa 1950s.
Piece two of a stunning collection of 3 different size bowls, this is the smaller footed bowl. Vibrant swirling filigree threads of blue and white enhanced by golden threads, encased in clear glass. This technique was invented by Venetian glass-blowers in 1527. Footed bowl with ruffled fluted edge. Lightweight and delicate form.
Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.

In 1956 Francesco and Mario Ballarini founded F&M Ballarin in Murano, Italy, drawing upon their experiences growing up on the island which is world renowned for beautiful glass art.
