Royal Copenhagen Crystal tall vase, made in Denmark circa 1950s.
Original Royal Copenhagen Crystal sticker. Tall elegant form, with a cobalt blue body and thick transparent turquoise base.
Condition:
In very good vintage condition. There are some small surface scratches consistent with age.
Measurements:
30cm tall x 11cm diameter = approx 11.75" x 4.25"

Queen Juliane Marie founded the Royal Porcelain Factory in 1775. The three waves were established as the factory's trademark. The waves symbolise Denmark's three most important bodies of water; the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt. The queen also introduced the royal crown to symbolise Royal Copenhagen's beginnings in the hands of the entrepreneurial monarchy.
Another signature of Royal Copenhagen is the distinctive cobalt blue colour used in both glassware and ceramics.
