Monterey Art Pottery vase - California, USA 1940s

Mid century vintage Monterey Art Pottery ceramic vase, hand thrown in Monterey, California circa 1940.

Monterey Art Pottery, Monterey Calif. marking on base. Beautiful soft pink glossy glaze which blends to a light turquoise around the opening. Rounded form, slightly asymmetrical as it is a hand thrown piece.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. Some imperfections in the glaze and slight wear on the bottom but no chips, cracks or damage.

Measurements:
approx 12cm tall x 12cm diameter at widest point = approx 4.75" x 4.75"
Round opening 5.6cm at top edge.
