Pair of antique ceramic vases, unidentified maker, signed on base. Likely made in the early 20th Century. For sale as a pair.
Lovely glossy blue craquelure glaze in shades of blue. The glaze is darkest in the decorative lines and the ends of the vertical relief petals. The rim of the foot is unglazed. The base is signed and has various markings and numbers but is currently unidentified, it could possibly be Japanese. Elegant squat globular form with a low foot and neck.
Condition:
In beautiful vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is are a few small ash spots in the glaze. Please see photos.

13.5-14cm tall x 14.5-15cm diameter = approx 5.5" x 5.75"
