Decorative vintage ceramic studio pottery bowl. Art deco style, unmarked but likely made in France circa 1920s or earlier.
Octagonal art deco form with sturdy walls. Lovely glossy crystalline glaze in mottled shades of blue, green and sand. Base is unglazed. Impressive piece, lovely as a decorative accent piece.
Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. Some wear on base, consistent with age and use but no chips or cracks. A glaze pop on the foot rim from manufacturing and some shrinkage cracks in the clay on the base from firing.
Measurements:
8cm tall x 20cm wide = approx 3" x 8"
